D. Afonso Henriques

Just because today is a holiday - Portugal's Day - here is the drawing I did of Portugal's first king, D. Afonso Henriques.

I know it's not new, but it's adequate for the day, and in all honesty I didn't have the time to sketch up something new. Damn you, exams! Still, hope you enjoy!

You got it all wrong! This is not a Portuguese at all! In fact, his name is Svenn Mitlansson, and he's from Finland, which is obvious by his clothes, which clearly show the Finnish flag. This scene takes place in 1340, and Svenn is shouting at your country for being a bastard and having all the warm weather. That's history.

ForgetfulRainn , what do you mean it's not Portuguese?

The Blue Cross represents the first Portuguese Flag.

It has nothing to do with Finland or the Finnish Flag.
